Due to the Big Ten's new media rights deal with CBS, Fox, and NBC, the Big Ten/ACC Challenge will end after this year's matches. It began in 1999, running for 24 years.

The ACC holds the overall edge in the matchup at 12-8, with the Big Ten posting an 8-12 record. There were ties in 2012, 2013, and 2018.
Illinois, as of today, is 10-13 and is currently on a two-game win streak. They will play their final game in the series on November 29th versus Syracuse.
